Katy Alonza Hamer was born in 1977. She is currently working on a series called “Being Seen, NY” , which the submitted artwork is from. The series includes portraits of strangers and friends interlaced with objects. Her goal is to think of ways to interact with her unknown and known subjects during the painting process.
